A Curtain Falls in Tears: Nollywood Mourns Aunty Ajara, 28, After Brave Battle With Illness

Nollywood has been thrown into mourning following the death of popular actress Ajara Lasisi, fondly known to fans as Aunty Ajara, who has passed away at the age of 28.


The heartbreaking news was confirmed on Thursday by renowned Nollywood director Tobi Oladele Teemony (Tee Mony), who announced her passing in an emotional statement shared on Instagram. According to him, the young actress died overnight after a long and courageous battle with illness.

The announcement was accompanied by a solemn video message from her elder brother, Ridwan Lasisi, who confirmed that doctors officially pronounced her dead earlier that morning.
